Bellevue Square Outing

We had to go to Bellevue Square because Daddy needed to get a tie and some socks. Of course, I wanted to go visit the new Disney Store.

Dei Dei liked the Disney Store too.

This is my, "Daddy, can you please buy this for me?" face.

After I got my Tad the fish (from Finding Nemo), we went to the Microsoft Store because we had never gone in before.

At the back, there was a Michael Jackson kinect contest going on.

I think we stayed a little too late because I was pretty tired by dinner time. But it was fun, I couldn't wait to bring Tad home to meet my Nemo.

Look Ma, No Hands!

Dei Dei stood this way for around 5 seconds.

What I Scored At Children's

This is my haul from going to Children's for an appointment the other day: a bison, a penguin, and a puffin bird. All I had to do was say hello to 2 different people at the security/receptionist desk. Another one is for sitting in a chair that spins around in the dark.

Couch Raspberries

Dei Dei likes to blow raspberries in the air, or on the couch and on Mommy and Daddy.

Drums With Gung Gung

Sunny Day At the Park

I went to the park recently.

This was Dei Dei's first swing ride.

We did it together.

I went to the pond to check out a family of ducks.

The daddy duck came later.

Soccer Game

I went to watch Dai Kaufu and Sai Kaifu play in the finals at the Kin On Soccer Tournament.

I brought my soccer ball but just held it most of the time. Daddy didn't want me to kick it into the soccer field while the game was on.

Dei Dei met Dai Kaumo's mommy and daddy.

Pau Pau and Gung Gung were there too.

Sai Kaufu and Dai Kaufu played well.

They won the finals 2-0 and scored a trophy.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!

You are our favorite playmate!

Especially when we can double team torture you. (Remember this? I'm poking your head here with a stick and Dei Dei was grabbing your face.)

Last Day of Preschool

My last day of preschool was graduation day for some of my friends.

I received a certificate for doing a good job from Ms. Hansen, my teacher.

My friend Oly likes to use his diploma as a telescope. He is graduating to kindergarten. My teachers told Mommy that Oly always asks if I am coming to school everyday. He likes to play with me.

This is Ben. He is going to Puesta Del Sol Kindergarten in the fall.

Ben always likes to play with me.

Dei Dei slept during the graduation party. Miss Padma (one of the paraeducators) loves holding babies.

Ben likes to hold my hand a lot.

This is his Mommy. She says Ben has a big sister and wants a little sister, but she says she is all done.

We're playing computer games together.

Ben is a lot taller than me (he's big for his age), so he has to bend down. Daddy said if Ben were ten years older, he'd slug him. He didn't like Ben tickling me and the aggressive hand holding.

This is probably the last day I'll see Ben since he is going to kindergarten. :( Next fall, since I'm the youngest right now, all my classmates will be new but will be closer to my age.

Maui Family Trip: Last Day

The morning of our flight, we decided to hit the beach one last time. I love the beach, it's probably one of my favorite places to go to.

Dei Dei ate some sand again. We probably brought back more sand than we think to the mainland.

After a lot of packing and cleaning and moving, we finally made it the car rental to return the car. In retrospect, someone (Thanks, Uncle Jeffrey) mentioned we should have just let Daddy go pick up/drop off the rental car instead of lugging the all the luggage on and off the shuttle to the car rental place. Oh well, next time.

I was happy to go home. I think everyone was happy to go home.

On the airplane, Dei Dei met his friend Greta again. We met her on our trip to Maui. She's a few months older than Dei Dei. There actually were a lot of babies on the flight again. And we weren't the noisiest. :)

Daddy was bored so he tried playing tricks with Dei Dei.

I had fun in Maui. Overall, Mommy and Daddy were happy we went. It was nice to spend some family time together, just the four of us. Mommy was a bit stressed before the trip, having never traveled this far with 2 before, and this trip is great proof that it is possible since we were able to survive it intact! Maybe we'll go on another trip in the future. Okay, maybe not the near future. :)

Maui Family Trip Day 7: Reefdancer

The next day we went to the beach in the morning, all slathered up with suncreen. Daddy's turtle was still there, except someone stepped on it.

We didn't go as early as we had wanted and the sun had already become stronger. A lady nicely lent Dei Dei her hat. You might notice he tried to eat some sand. Mommy found a lot of sand in his diaper the next day.

After we cleaned up, we went to Lahaina to grab lunch and get ready to ride the Reefdancer, the glass bottom boat. Dei Dei wasn't exercising good table manners.

We ate lunch under the humongous Banyan tree. This tree shades over 2/3 acres and has 12 major trunks in addition to one huge core.

We're at the core here.

We finally boarded the Reefdancer. Daddy thought it would be fun for me to see fish in their natural habitat.

I saw some fish.

And a diver brought back a sea urchin

and octopus.

There really wasn't a lot of fish, I think they all swam away from the boat. Daddy told me to pretend I'm a fish.

Showing the fish my fishface. Overall, it was an okay ride- there weren't many sea creatures and Dei Dei decided to go to the bathroom during the boatride. Mommy and Daddy felt guilty because they left behind one of Dei Dei's poopy diapers. Don't worry, they tipped them.

Maui Family Trip Day 6: The Beach (Finally!)

On day 6, after some sightseeing, we went to have a sushi dinner near where we lived. Daddy let Dei Dei try some new foods (like ginger!). Daddy said Dei Dei seemed to like it.

After dinner we went to the beach- close to sunset, since the sun was too strong for us. I was able to walk on the sand! Although I still wanted help, it was huge progress since the last time I was on the beach when I couldn't even take one step.

Dei Dei walked on the beach too.

And he got wet!

Since he was all sandy and wet already,

Mommy let him crawl on the beach.

Daddy and I went to work on building something.

Our finished product

You can see it better here.
