Bambi on the Ipad

If you've noticed in a lot of my pictures, I have Thumper and Bambi with me. They're my favorites. (If they're not there, it's usually because Mommy and Daddy say they don't want Bambi and Thumper to get dirty.) I got so hooked on watching Bambi on my Ipad that I can recite some of the lines from it by heart or talk about some of the actions in the movie. One thing I say over and over, (much to Mommy's dismay) is, "Bambi lost his mother." And sometimes I re-enact the part where Bambi calls "Mother! Mother! Mother!"
I even got into watching Bambi 2, which leaves off from when Bambi's loses his mommy and his daddy takes over raising him and tries to find a new mother for him. There's a new character in this movie named "Ronno" who is Bambi's arch nemesis. He is a mean fawn and makes fun of Bambi and tries to compete for Fallene's attention. I like to talk about "bad boy" Ronno a lot and call him the "Prince of the Forest" (which is really Bambi's title). Mommy is a bit worried about this "bad boy"fascination part.

Doin' the Puyallup!

Great Grandma wanted to go to the Puyallup Fair, so Mommy and I tagged along with her and Grandma and Grandpa.

I got to see a whole barn full of different colored cows.

Unfortunately, only water comes out of this one.

I saw some baby chicks!

And a big turkey!

I got to see the draft horses return to their barns after their show.

I went into the kid's barn to pet some goats,

a bunny,

and some little chicks.

I saw some pigs playing with each other too.

We walked outside for a bit and I saw all the rides that I'm too short for. I really liked the ferris wheel.

We went into the exhibition hall to check some stuff out.

I saw a lot of humongous fruits and vegetables.

Like these pumpkins.

At the end of the day, I was pretty tired. I managed to snatch a free banana crown on the way out.

I had fun seeing all the animals with everyone. Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa for taking us!

Oregon Coast Trip

The weekend after our Olympic Game Farm Trip, we went to the Oregon Coast to Gleneden Beach with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Jason, and Auntie Amy.

On the way there, we stopped over in Seaside. I rode a bunny (of course!) on the carousel.

And Daddy couldn't resist the arcade, so I played some myself. I usually like the ones that involved animals, like this one with with racehorses.

I also did a little bit of DDR. Time to whip out the DDR pads at Pau Pau and Gung Gung's house!

And I watched Daddy play a few games.

We finally arrived in Gleneden and the next morning we had a gorgeous view on a beautiful day.

We went down to the beach and I did some sensory play.

Daddy wanted to build a castle

We saw a seal coming up in the waves.

The sensory box (usually with beans or sand) at preschool is no comparison.
I just love playing in it and getting dirty.

Daddy built a moat around the castle.

Not sure if he knew how close the waves were coming up to his castle, but the next day his castle was gone. :(

We took a dip in the pool. I ended up scratching his back up pretty bad. But I had so much fun! :)

This is us the next morning. Legs crossing and surfing.

We all ventured out to Tillamook.

I didn't see any live cows there, but we did see plenty on the drive.

I had a lot of fun in Oregon with everyone! This will probably be my last trip for a while until my brother gets a little bigger (but first he has to come out).

The One Month No-Tube Photoshoot

To celebrate being tubeless for one month, Mommy took me to get some pictures done professionally. It's always been stressful for Mommy and Daddy when we take our family portrait because they have to purposely take out the tube and then reinsert it later. This time, the photoshoot was a breeze! I was really cheerful and friendly with the photographer.

And guess what? I had some appointments today at Children's and discovered I gained weight! Even better is that during my cardiology visit (where I had an echo and EKG and blood pressure taken), my cardiologist says I don't need the heart procedure that he recommended previously (just some monitoring)! We were so relieved to hear that. Once again, thanks everyone for praying for me! I am such a lucky girl to be so supported by many wonderful people.

On Our Way To Discovery Bay 3: Olympic Game Farm

Today was the day we would go the the Olympic Game Farm, but since I'm the early bird, I went for a swim in the morning, which I wanted to do the day before. Here I am, all ready to go.

I was hesitant at first.


Started playing with the pool noodles.

And eventually kicked and splashed away. It was fun swimming.


Eventually, we drove to the Olympic Game Farm, but it was pretty rainy.




I fed llamas





We threw bread to zebras.






Rhinos

Auntie Amy threw one to the bear, but he didn't realize it was on his back.

I also fed 'Bambi.' Unfortunately, Mommy took a lot of videos of animals (horses, bunnies, bison, elk, etc), but they were all on the 'time lapse' setting (thanks to me playing with the camera) so the videos didn't come out well.

We went to the petting farm area. It stopped raining for a bit. I liked the donkey. He's pretty cute.

But then it started to rain again. The poor animals got wet and hid in their little houses. The donkey and sheep went inside.

And the goats did too.

But I had fun feeding and visiting the animals. I'd recommend bringing my little brother here when he gets out.
