Go Daddy, Go!

My daddy competed in a sushi eating contest this past Saturday. I was excited to wear my 'Futomaki Fong' T-shirt designed by Makayla's daddy.

Grandma and Auntie Judy came to cheer Daddy on while Mommy had to be Daddy's helper in filling his water and bringing more sushi to him. I was cheering, "Go Daddy, Go!" and "Futomaki Fong," during the contest.

Here's a sample of my cheers.

In case you missed it, here is the part where Daddy made it to a 3-way tie, but lost in overtime to two past champion eaters. The funny part is at the end. Daddy said that hopefully watching this will help me eat better. Mommy disagrees and says this is "what not to do."

I had a lot of fun that day. I also got to see my friends Isaac, Chloe, Braden, Makayla, Samuel, and their parents. And also Maddie's daddy, Uncle Simon, Uncle Mel, and Uncle Yun and his wife. Thanks to everyone who came to cheer Daddy on!

Had a Blast at Noah's Birthday Party

Mommy and Daddy thought we could have breakfast on the Seattle side before Noah's party. I was really well behaved at Lola's.

Outside Lola's I ran inside the 'rectangle' at Assaggio's. Daddy thought this would make a nice jail picture.

We eventually made it to Noah's party at the Science Center. We started the party with some coloring.

I've never used markers before and got my fingers dirty.

I got the hang of it.

Here's Noah, the birthday boy.

We also all made rocketships for launching.

I loved my rocket!!! I got upset if someone took it away from me.

Before launch, we took a group picture.

Unfortunately, mine didn't fly, but the other one launched next to mine did.

When we got back, we made some ice cream using liquid nitrogen.

It was cool to watch.

Daddy gave me an aerial view.

This was the last step. There was so much vapor!

Results! Chocolate-looking vanilla ice cream. Yummy! (It tastes better than it looks.)

Happy Birthday, Noah! from Jujube on Vimeo.
I loved Noah's birthday cupcake cake.

I had some ice cream and loved the frosting on Noah's cake. See my blue tongue?

After the party, we went around the Science Center. I visited the tide pool. I loved looking at the starfish and hermit crabs, but surprisingly, I didn't really want to touch. Although, after I got home and saw the pictures, I said, "I want to touch the sea anemone." Maybe next time.

We went to the butterfly house and I spied a butterfly.

When it was time to leave, we made a stop at the the water shooter.

I had a blast at Noah's birthday party! :) I had so much fun and was so partied out, I napped for 4 hours.

Happy (Belated) Birthday, Noah!

Ambidextrous Coloring

Ambi coloring from Jujube F on Vimeo.
Katie, my PT, had said that we don't know handedness until I'm around 3. I'm still going on strong with both. This will be useful when I do homework. :)

Digging

Ever since I saw dogs digging on TV, I've been really into that. If I see dirt outside (like the garden in front of my preschool), I'll start digging there. Unfortunately, there's no dirt inside the house, so I have to resort to dumping stuff on the ground (Sorry, Mommy!) and digging that.

Mommy calls these paper-shred-confetti-things, zig zags, for lack of a better term. Imagine, this is what I like to do in the dirt!

Unfortunately, Mommy didn't get her camera in time for this one, but you get the idea. And no, I never cleaned up my mess... Mommy is still working on that one.

I was so excited to bunnysit my favorite bunnies, Foo Foo and Cookie at their house. Thank you, Auntie Grace!

The Secret is Out!

Secret from Jujube F on Vimeo.
Mommy has the suspicion that I'd rather have a pet puppy or bunny. Speaking of bunny, Auntie Grace knitted me the nice peep bunny I'm holding. I love it a lot!

Easter 2010

Happy Easter everyone! Since I'm a bunny-phile, Easter is in my top 3 favorite holidays of all time (after Christmas and my birthday, of course). I get a nice haul on this day too. Here, I have a bunny from Auntie Judy (with cute basket in the back).

From Auntie Deanna, I got some nice Minnie ears, along with some other cool Mickey gear.

Here I am trying let some of my Easter haul from Grandma get a ride on Braden's car.

Later, Braden took me on a spin in his car. He's one strong baby.

Braden and I traded toys for a bit.

I also lent them to Auntie Mae. I thought she looked so nice, I did a little jig.

We tried to take a family picture. This is probably the best one. We're looking at Grandma with a bunny on her head.

Unfortunately, I distracted Daddy with some M&Ms that I released when I cracked open an egg.

I love my Daddy.

Bunny Royalty

I'm Bunny King, Mommy from Jujube on Vimeo.
I like to pretend I'm of Bunny royalty, so a few days ago, I coronated myself as Bunny King.

I called Daddy a Monster when I reviewed this video. I don't think he would make a nice Bunny King.

Check-up For Lucy

Vet Jujube from Jujube on Vimeo.
I got this medical kit from my friend Isabel. I think its more fun using it for animals than people.

Eventually, I diagnosed Lucy with Bunny eye.

Lucy learned so much from my 'training,' she eventually went on to receive her medical degree.
