Nice Day At The Park

On Saturday, it was a nice day outside, so Mommy and Daddy took me to the park and I had my first swing ride. It was a lot of fun. I haven't been to this park for a while, so I noticed they put in a lot of new playground additions.

My Elmo Phone

Even though Mommy bought me an Elmo that's mute, I do have another Elmo toy that compensates for that. (The other talking Elmos are just not as huggable.) My Elmo phone, which Grauntie Audrey bought me, is one of my favorites.

Daddy recorded a special message for me.

My New Friend

Mommy got me an Elmo (the quiet one) because I've been saying his name every time I see him- on my clothes, on the diapers, on the Sesame Street website, Elmo videos, and books. I once spotted Elmo across the room on a book in the doctor's office. The first time I saw my Elmo doll, I hugged him really hard. I love Elmo.

Yikes! More Santa Baby

My dancing is getting crazier.

Bubbles

Mommy thought my interest in the straw was promising, but this was not what she had in mind.

Happy Moo Ox Year!

Here I am modeling various New Year's attire:

This cheongsam is from Grandma.

Showing some leg in this picture. I've paired it with my Kitty socks from Auntie Deanna.

This outfit is from Pau Pau.

With matching hat.

And matching vest completes the ensemble.

More Signing and Singing in Da Crib

I just love to delay my bedtime! (I sound a little hoarse because this was filmed when I was still sick).

Singin' in the Crib

A few weeks ago, I became strong enough to pull to stand in my crib. Suddenly my crib became a great place to hang out. I would get up especially after Mommy tries to put me down to sleep and start chit chatting and dancing. Unfortunately for Mommy, it took me a little longer to get to sleep. Mommy caught some of it on video.

This is a song for Daddy while he was still at work.

Short version of my #1 hit: Santa Baby

Here I'm signing my version of 'bird.' Notice I started moving my fingers on the crib when Mommy said 'bird.'

Of course, all this crib standing gets a little boring sometimes and this is the way I escape.

Fortunately for Mommy, I do eventually get tired.

Dangerously Cheesy

Lia and Toby like their puffs a lot. While I think they're okay, they're even more fun to play with. I like to think they're ninja stars and throw them around. Mommy says more have landed on the floor than in my stomach.

Yesterday I discovered Lil' Crunchies (recommended by Kate, my OT), which are like cheez doodles or cheetos puffs for babies. They are yum!

Here I am munching on Lil' Crunchies while drinking milk with my little straw, something that I started to like too. Mommy's pretty excited about that. It could mean new possibilities.

Tissue Baby

I use a lot of tissues when I'm sick!

P.S. Sometimes Daddy lets me do this when I'm not sick. He says its a "cheap toy" that I can have fun with.

Bear's New Ride

Katie, my PT, let me borrow a new toy recently.

It's a chariot for Bear.

Hold on Bear! Here we go!

More Bear Affection

Here I am dancing with Bear to the new Mozart Cube I got from Auntie Susie and Uncle Jack. I like to kiss Bear especially if I haven't seen him in a while.
By the way, I made a mess in the back. I pulled out all the diapers out of the basket.

Runny Noses

Mommy and I have been sick for a few days. I was sick first on Monday and then I made Mommy sick. And you know how?

It's probably because of this! The Nosefrida!

Let me show you how.

First you connect the pieces together

Then you aim for the nose.

You connect to one nostril.

Then you suck the boogers out. (Don't worry, no boogers get into your mouth because there's a piece of foam in the middle to catch it.) Poor bear, he didn't know it was coming. Now you know why I don't like this. Mommy thinks she got sick from sucking some of my germs up.

I'll make it up to bear

And I've Never Seen Dancing With The Stars

Dancin' with Santa Baby with some cool moves (i.e the pickup, the dip, and solo 'snake' at the end) and some singin'. Babe-eh!

Pear Therapy

Kate, my OT told Mommy to let me play with my food sometimes. Here I'm getting my pear manicure. Eventually I got a pear shampoo and facial. I also gave bear and bunny a pear facial but Mommy took them to the spa to wash up. I should take advantage of this while I can!

Bye Sai Kaufu

Pau Pau and Sai Kaufu came over yesterday to hang out with me while Mommy went to work. Sai Kaufu is leaving again to go back to work at his company. He taught me to play some soccer while he was over.

Dai Kaumo and Dai Kaufu came by too. Here they are in this picture. Notice Dai Kaufu is a little tired.

Santa Baby!

This was a present from Tai Ma when I was in the nicu. I didn't really understand it back then, but I do now!

'Nanas

Mommy was pretty happy I ate more food than I usually do today. I even ate some of the banana all by myself.

I had enough already, so I told Mommy 'No more' and that she should eat the rest.

Happy New Year!

Happy new year! I'm 13 months today. Here is my holiday recap.

I spent Christmas eve at Gung Gung & Pau Pau's house. Sai Kaufu was there. I only get to see him a few times each year. I don't have any pictures on me since they're on Gung Gung's camera but here is one of the outfits I scored from Dai Kaufu and Dai Kaumo. Mommy loves this outfit because it has two things she loves (besides me): Ballet and of course, Hello Kitty. I love my mini tutu.

On Christmas Day, I went over to Grandma & Grandpa's house. We're missing some family and friends because of the snow, but there were some special guests this year

I scored this cool poncho- here I am modeling it with Grandma.

The poncho was beautifully hand knit by Grauntie Christina.

Resting up for the New Year's Eve party at Lia's house, Daddy decided to use me as a foot rest.

At Lia's house I got to stay up late until 10pm and even slept in Lia's nifty Peapod tent. I loved it so much, Mommy got me one too. I don't have any pictures at the party, but maybe Lia's mommy and daddy will post some eventually.
