My Dedication

Guess what? This coming Sunday, I'm being dedicated at church. What is baby dedication you ask? This is when Mommy and Daddy make a promise before God and everyone at church to raise me up in a home where I can get to know about Jesus. This sounds like a hard task, and of course Mommy and Daddy can't do it by themselves so they need the support of everyone at church. Like, for example, this past Sunday Grandma brought me to Sunday school for the first time and Auntie Gloria was teaching about Peter in the Bible. I couldn't pay attention to eating my lunch so I listened and watched all the kids.

So if you would like to see me get dedicated this Sunday, you are all welcomed to come to church this Sunday, May 4th at 9:30 AM.

Animal Sounds

Earlier, Daddy was trying to teach me different animal sounds- chicken, pig, kitten, puppy, frog, horse, snarf. Some of them crack me up!

My Daddy Rickroll'ed Me

I don't understand my daddy sometimes. Whenever I cry, he tries to cheer me up by showing me this video of Rick Astley. Sometimes he even tries to sing that song. Why is he so obsessed? They wear strange outfits and dance funny. Later, I find out Daddy's been rickrolling me all along.

Binky Tricks

Binky Trick #1

I can take out my binky and put it back in.


Binky Trick #2

Mommy doesn't know about Binky Trick #1, so I throw my binky away to get some attention.


Binky Trick #3

After Binky Trick #2, Mommy or Daddy comes to pick up my binky, I grab on to their hands and try to hold on to them as long as possible so that the next time I lose my binky, I don't have to wait so long to get it back.

My Mitts

I've been scratching myself a lot lately, especially when I sleep. See my boo boo on my nose and on my eye? So Daddy puts on my mitts on when I sleep. And he likes to make mitt jokes when he puts it on.

Like 'get your stinkin mitts off me' or he tells Mommy that he thinks I'll vote Romney for president.

My Daddy

I love my daddy (even more than Binky :) ). Whenever I see my daddy come home from work, I get excited. I don't see my daddy as much anymore since the NICU because he works a lot and sometimes when he comes home, it is past my bedtime.


Everytime Daddy sees me, he yells out "Ju! Ju! Beeee!" (like a drill sergeant). I don't know why he does that, maybe he is excited to see me too. Mommy thinks that might scare me, but I am pretty tough. After all, I can sleep through loud noises like when Daddy uses the blender to make smoothies while I'm sleeping.

Sometimes I give Daddy a smile when he picks me up and that makes him really happy.

When Mommy was sick, Daddy was really nice. He came home and brought dinner for her, washed my bottles, the milk machine gear, and even washed all the dishes that were piling up in the sink. Mommy really appreciated it.



Sometimes Daddy treats me like a little kitten, which Mommy isn't so happy about.

I guess he can't keep up with my energy level because he sometimes falls asleep.

Great Grandma

Grandma and Tai-Ma came to visit me today. I was really happy to see them both. Tai-Ma just came back from California and she will be traveling again soon. She remembers me during all the holidays and sends me cards and gives me many books. I kept looking at Tai-Ma for a long time because I don't see too many people with white hair.

I took an extra long nap today in Grandma's arms. It was really warm and comfy. I am so blessed to be loved by my Grandma and Tai-Ma.

I'm Four Months Old!

Today I'm four months old! Remember in December when I looked like this? I was wearing my one-of-a-kind onesie that Auntie Melinda made for me. I was swimming in it! Back then I was only 6 pounds.

But look at me now! I'm more than twice the size and quite snug in my favorite onesie. I wish I could still wear it longer, but I guess I'll just have to let my little brother or sister wear it in 9 months....

HAHA! Just kidding, April Fools! I don't have any little brothers or sisters yet. Mommy says I have to wait until I'm older.
