My First Christmas
Christmas eve was at PauPau and GongGong's. Both my KauFus were there. KauMo was there too. Dai KauFu fed me my Christmas eve dinner.

My first Christmas eve family picture. This is the first Christmas tree I've seen!

For Christmas Day, we went over to NinNin and YehYeh's. I was pretty sleepy and yawny my first Christmas, but I got a lot of nice presents! Mommy and Daddy were pretty sleepy too.
This was my pink bear going out oufit. I don't fit it anymore! I have a new bunny one now.

Home At Last
When we got home, I got a tour of my new place, even my new room and all my new stuff. Mommy, Daddy, and I all sleep in the living room because it's hard for Mommy to walk up and down the stairs.
It was so nice to be home. I didn't have to wear any wires or tubes anymore! So many people could hold me without tangling the cords.
Here's NinNin and Uncle Jason:

Here's GongGong and Sai KauFu:

Daddy likes to give me Tummy Time a lot. And this is what happened on my 17th day. This is the second time that I've done it. (Daddy missed the first one on video).
Two days later, I had my first photo shoot!

Overdue News: My Debut!
Ok, I guess it's time to write about my entrance into the world. It's been more than 10 weeks! I just wanted to collect my thoughts and reflect over the whole experience since it was pretty scary. Let me start at the beginning- well, the introduction to Daddy. I already know Mommy inside,I can hear her every word for a few months, and I know what she smells like. I've only heard Daddy's voice and snores, so Daddy was the first person I met besides Dr. Isbell and the nurses.
First off, when it was time for me to come out, I gave Mommy a lot of pain. She said she didn't mind it as much as long as she saw me in the end. I was too cozy inside and didn't want to come out and plus, I was a little stuck, but eventually Dr. Isbell came in and scooped me out from the emergency exit.
When I came out, Daddy told Mommy that I was cute, but he secretly thought I looked like an alien because I was all pale and mucusy with gunk in my eyes. At first, I didn't cry, but later on when the doctors woke me up, I let out a little cry. Mommy was really worried when she didn't hear anything, but then she heard the cutest little squeak. She was so happy and so relieved. When I first saw Mommy, I gave her a wink to tell her everything was okay and Mommy's heart just melted. She was so excited- she has never been so happy in her life. She really wanted to hold me but she couldn't because Dr. Isbell was still fixing the exit door. But Daddy got to hold me the whole time. When it was time to leave Dr Isbell's room, Mommy was wheeled out on a stretcher. Daddy had to change out of his scrubs and he put me on top of Mommy's exit door! Mommy was happy to hold me but she told Daddy to move me off the exit door.
I was really curious to meet Daddy. I've heard his voice a lot and really wanted to get to know him better. I got to spend a lot of time with him the next 10 days in a special room (where I also got to see Uncle David L. and his work place) called Nicky, I mean Nicu. There, I had so many tubes and probes, I was connected to a TV! I wasn't really comfortable in that room with all the things that were happening to me so Daddy tried to cheer me up. He would hold me the whole time and kiss me on my kiss spot on my forehead a lot. Daddy even tried to film an MTV Cribs documentary of me 'n my crib. It was my first starring role in a film. Maybe we'll post it one day. :) I got to watch a lot of football and basketball with him. In fact, I've watched every Seahawks game since I've been out so far. I've been cheering them on with Daddy. Next season I'll be able to wear my Seahawks gear that Auntie Sheila got me. :)

Meanwhile, Mommy was was really sad to be separated from Daddy and me, so the nurses helped put her in a wheelchair and brought her over to our room. The nurses eventually moved Mommy to a room that was a little closer to our room, but she didn't spend a lot of time in it. Everyday she would come see me and bring some yummy meals for me. Some nurses scolded her for not staying there to take her medicine on time, but Mommy was just so so excited to see me. After a few days, she moved in with us and we were one happy family together.
We stayed in the Nicu for some more days. I saw a lot of different doctors and nurses. When the doctor said I was strong enough to go home, I was really excited to check out Mommy and Daddy's house. Here are my going home pics (Strike a Pose!). Auntie Melinda made me my spiffy Kitty outfit. I even have a blanket that goes with it!
