Chicken on the Loose

I revisited the farm on a sunny day last week. I was really excited to see the animals, especially the chickens.

I had to bring my chicken, of course, to show Mr. Rooster. Even when Mommy left it in the car, I made her go back and get it.

While I was checking out the bantam chickens, Farmer Jayne opened the gate to show a repairman some equipment and a few chickens slipped out of the coop. She had to run and chase Mr. Rooster down, but she let one of the hens stay out a bit. She said Mr. Rooster should not be let loose.

I really wanted to pet the chicken (I love petting animals).

The chicken came up to me!

I had to chase it down, but it was too quick for me. One of Farmer Jayne's friends eventually put the chicken back in the coop.

The Great Escape

Escape from Jujube on Vimeo.
The first time I escaped was 2 months ago. Since then, I've gotten much better. Mommy finally got a video. Nap time is so much harder now (at least for Mommy :)).

New Suit

I got a new Spio Suit from my PT. It's supposed to help me balance better.

It does a pretty good job keeping the gut in.

Unfortunately, I'm not too keen on it.

Playing with Mommy's Stuff

This is Hello Kitty, Mr. T style. I dug through Mommy's kitty stash and I found these ears that Anna Jane's mommy and daddy gave me. Now that I have more hair, they fit better than before.

Happy Birthday Uncle David!

Auntie April threw Uncle David an awesome birthday party at Salty's this past weekend.

I arrived at the party in a semi-nap state.

Mommy and Daddy took me on the deck outside the party room to admire the beauiful view.

Here I am checking out the 'Christmas tree' decorations and waiting for Lucy's video to start. I loved it! I kept saying Lucy was cute. Lucy stayed at home at Uncle David and Auntie April's house. Too bad she couldn't come.

This is my pretty dress that I got from Grandma.

Everyone kept saying Mommy and I dressed alike.

I had fun following the older girls around.

I ran after the girls around the room and even followed them under the table.

Here is everyone eating fruit snacks.

I was a little party girl spinning (and spinning) all over the place. Mommy told my PT about it on Monday and she was pretty impressed.

Funny uncles.

Uncle David and the girls (plus Kaufu). The girls in white sweaters were Mommy and Daddy's flower girls. They are so big now.

Uncle David and Auntie April and my family. Did you know that I was Uncle David's patient when I was only a few hours old?

The party was so much fun. Mommy and Daddy said I was one crazy party girl on the dance floor. They had never seen me dance like that before. I also learned a new dance: the chicken dance.

Happy birthday today, Uncle David!

A Surprise Visit

Happy New Year!

I'd like to start my first post of the year with my trip to the Whale Hospital today (I like the giant whale hanging from the ceiling).

Guess who I saw there when I was about to go home!

At first I was hiding from Mickey when I saw him with another baby. When he came over, I was a little overwhelmed with how big he was. He offered me a mini-Mickey. If you look carefully, one of his helpers is carrying a lot of little Mickeys.

Another one of Mickey's helpers even took a picture for me.
I was soooo excited on the car ride back, I kept talking about it on the way home.

Here's my Mickey stash now. Hmmm, who's snoring?

Mommy, Daddy, I'm ready for Disneyland now!
