My Second Zoo Visit

I went to the zoo this past weekend with some of my friends from Happyfish. I revisited some of the animals that I love and also did some new things that I missed out on last time.

Like this guy. I saw him last time, but this time I got to see him really close.

Giraffe Snack Time from Jujube on Vimeo. I got a closer look at his tongue!

I went to check out my favorite penguins.

I can't get enough!

It looks like they're flying through the air!

Here I am with Daddy and the eagles. If you look carefully, you can see the big nest and 2 eagles in back of us.

I had fun watching the otters with Noah and Toby. I didn't know where Kenzie, Naomi, and Katelyn were.

Last time, I also missed the Willawong station. That's where you get to feed parrots! At the station, there were so many birds in the trees! I loved looking all around.

Daddy caught a parrot on his bird seed stick.

Auntie Grace caught a bird too.

I thought it was cool!

Auntie Grace actually got two birds on her stick. That was even cooler!

After the Willawong Station, I went to see the elephants. There was an elephant show going on. I saw Bamboo the elephant eat an apple and orange. He's a funny elephant. He actually peeled the orange with his trunk because he doesn't like to eat the peel.

I also saw a tiger, gorillas, orangutans, and bears. I had a lot of fun at the zoo! I hope I can go again. I was still asking Mommy for elephants a few days after.

Thank You, Daddy!

Dearest Daddy,
This Father's Day, I want to thank you. Thank you for working hard so I can watch bunny videos and go to the zoo. Thank you for tickling me and making me laugh so hard. Thank you for dancing the bunny dance (and other kinds of dances), you always get me so excited to see you. Thank you for taking me to the park and showing me the baby ducks. Thank you for showing me Bruce Lee videos (while Mommy wasn't home) and letting me practice some kung fu moves (so intense that I pulled out my tube.) I love my "just Daddy and me" time. Most of all, thank you for being my Daddy.
Happy Father's Day!
Oiiii Dada!

Love,
Jujube

Also, happy father's day to 'Gandpa' and Gung Gung too!

Yo Mama

Yo! Yo! It was my mommy's birthday last week. And Dai Kaufu and Dai Kaumo and Sai Kaufu gave her a nice birthday gift. Accompanying it was this Hello Kitty bling. When I saw it, I put it around my neck and Mommy wondered who put it on me, but little did she know I did it myself.

Mommy of course, wanted to take a picture of me gangsta style.

Do I look tougher with my hat on this side?

Whatcha lookin' at, buster?

(Sorry this is sideways) Maybe I need to practice my hip hop style a little bit more.

I'm not so tough after all.

Walking After My Shots

This is a bit overdue, but Mommy took some videos of me walking a little the day of my shots, which was the day after my 18 month birthday. You can still see my little Snoopy bandaids. Mommy said I was such a trooper! I didn't cry that much after these three shots.

Here I am attempting to take off like a duck.

Animal Lover

I love animals a lot! I love furry, feathery, scaley animals and even bugs!
I'm also quite into ducks and other birds. Mommy said I even talk about ducks and birds in my sleep. On several occasions she has heard me say "more ducks" and "birds flying" in my sleep.

My Bunny Dance from Jujube on Vimeo.

As you know, I'm also really into bunnies. Here, I'm dancing and watching 'A Very Bunny Movie.' Some other videos I've liked watching.

After my last zoo trip, I kept asking to see elephants for several days. This weekend I'm going again! I can't wait!

My First Trip to the Zoo

Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma brought me to the zoo today. Mommy's company had a big dinner party there.
Here are the pictures at the beginning and the end of our zoo trip.
Our first stop were the penguins, which I love! I made sure I was wearing my penguin shoes that Daddy bought me.

This is a better picture of the penguins swimming by. I was so excited, my hair was standing up!

Next, I saw different kinds of birds, farm animals, giraffes, elephants, lions, bears, eagles, and so many other animals I forget to list. Mommy didn't take a lot of pictures because we didn't really have a lot of time and I wanted to see all the animals!

Here's Grandma and me at the end of the zoo trip. She was the one who got me excited about the zoo. Mommy said I repeated 'Zoo! Bear!' a lot yesterday.

Here's Daddy, Mommy, and me on the bear too. We're actually in front of the merry-go-round.

At the dinner, there were all sorts of toys that I got from animal stickers, to flashy light sticks. Unfortunately, Mommy didn't let me get a tattoo. I did bring some animals home that Mommy's company also gave me! I have a new baby zebra, baby lion, baby monkey, and baby elephant.

Too bad I missed feeding the birds, but I think I'll be going again this month. Maybe I could also get to feed the giraffes and orangutans then. It was such a fun day, I had trouble going to bed at night.

Look Out World, Here I Come!

Here I Come! from Jujube on Vimeo.

Last month, Katie, my PT, was helping me to practice this. Mommy and Katie were being tricky. Each time I crossed, they moved the couch and ottoman further apart. I was able to get almost three steps in last week! And Mommy was finally able to get a few steps on camera.

Another Gate, Another Path to Freedom

Jujube Houdini from Jujube on Vimeo.

Looks like if Mommy doesn't lock this gate securely, I get instant freedom on this one too.
Jujube: 3, Child-proof Home Safety Gear: 0. (I was also able to remove a safety latch from a drawer the other day).

By the way, I'm 18 months today!
